10 Things (I Think) I’ve Learned
1. Men are not princes. You are not in a Disney movie. Snap out of it.
2. Snapping at kids is one of the worst things you can do.
3. If you’re luckier than you are good, be nicer than you were lucky.
4. It’s hard, but you need to give help when you are asked and ask for it when you need it given.
5. Be fun-employed once in your life.
6. Know the rules before you break them.
7. You don’t need to test boundaries.
8. Someone will call your bluff.
9. Write thank you notes to all of your exes, even if it’s just for letting you go.
10. Send thank you cards to everyone you meet — their time is a gift.
